Our volunteer endeavors are driven by our employees’ commitment to strengthen East Windsor Township through volunteer action and leadership. Each year, our employees give hundreds of hours of their time and expertise to support the community where they live and work.

As a Municipal Utilities Authority, we believe that by working together, we can build a better world. We look for opportunities to give back, especially in our areas of community investment focus:

  • Water and the Environment:
Innovative, community-based environmental projects that improve, restore or protect our watersheds and our communities’ surface and groundwater.
  • Water and Healthy Living:
Efforts that contribute to healthy communities by promoting access to safe water and sanitation, educating customers on the health benefits of water and encouraging good hygiene practices.
  • Environmental Education:
Educational programs which provide information about water conservation, water and wastewater treatment, the water cycle, watershed protection and the environment.
  • Community Sustainability:
Projects that meet a definitive, sustainable community need, preferably aligned with East Windsor MUA core value’s, and which enrich the lives of the residents who live and work in the community we serve.

Our employees are our strongest asset and with their time, talent and commitment, we make an even greater impact in our community. Our significant contributions would not be possible without them.

Their volunteer efforts include emergency service, tutoring students on water conservation and stewardship, removing invasive vegetation and cleaning waterways and trails, and staffing educational and cultural events. We plan to expand our volunteer opportunities in the future, and look forward to addressing many more community needs through our volunteering programs.
